Linguatique Limited has been set up in response to the government decision to introduce Modern Foreign Languages into the National Curriculum throughout KS2 by September 2009.  The mission of Linguatique Limited is to promote the teaching and learning of languages by introducing interactive resources into the teaching environment that increase exposure to the target language and can be used independently by the pupils in play.   

Linguatique Limited imports toys and games directly from non-English speaking countries, selecting items primarily that can enhance language learning.  The vast majority of our products are monolingual to encourage the student to think in that language rather than translate. 

The Linguatique Limited product range can offer resources for both Primary and Secondary Education. Some of the items offered can be integrated into classroom teaching, others offer opportunities for pupils to develop language skills in non-teaching situations, exposing them with greater frequency to the language they are trying to learn.

The Linguatique Limited product range offers opportunities for After School Clubs and Libraries to support the delivery of languages in schools.  Staff  that do not speak Modern Foreign Languages can feel intimidated at the thought of using language resources but as many of our items do not require teacher input they can make them available to pupils with confidence.
